PALMS HOTEL

I was recently digging around on the interweb for new music and came upon an old demo from a group called Palms Hotel. It's gritty lo-fi pop reminiscent of Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti. It seems like the tracks are somewhat unfinished, but I like the lo-fi electro live sound none-the-less. The uploader says the tracks were converted to digital via cassette tapes. Settlers

Brooklyn band Settlers posted a few rough tracks on their myspace page. We expect huge things from these boys. Medieval folk with a touch of bluegrass laced with harmony vocals? How can you go wrong?
